www.buyandsell.lk commercial advertising website won the silver award for best commercial website in a competition to select the best and the most popular website in Sri Lanka for the year 2013 organised by L.K. Domain Registry.
The awards ceremony of this competition organised for the fourth time by L.K. Domain Registry was held recently at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo.
Speaking about www.buyandsell.lk securing the silver award, Enterprise Systems Managing Director Amila Thennekoon said: “At present, the most effective and the most profitable advertising medium is the internet. One specialty of internet advertising is that it makes local and global advertising at a minimal cost. No other media could give such advertising. The other specialty is that an advertisement posted on the internet remains accessible for a long time. A newspaper advertisement is only effective for a day or two. Advertisments on TV and radio last only for seconds. We launched this advertising website in 2008. In a short time of just five years, it has become one of the most reputed and popular websites. That is confirmed by winning the silver award for the best advertising website among all other advertising websites in Sri Lanka.”
www.buyandsell.lk website gives the necessary publicity to buy and sell goods and services such as houses and property and vehicles to Sri Lankans living here or abroad. This website is accessed by thousands of local and overseas Sri Lankans daily and it uploads about 1000 advertisements every month.
