Why should one use PowerShell 4.0? reduces errors and can be automated. – Janaka
If your scripts are in powershell 2.0, you need to have the framework 3.5. – Janaka
Windows PowerShell. What is it?
it is a distributed automation engine with a scripting languages and interactive shell. – Janaka
It is easier to use power shell, than using the GUI.
You also could reduce the disk space by removing unwanted features of the server. – Janaka
Microsoft promotes Server Core as the primary server deployment option. – Janaka
Sometimes admins prefer to use GUI. Hence the choices. – Janaka
Classic Full Server, Full Server without Sever Graphical Shell and Server Core are the interface choices. – Janaka
Remote Sever Admin Tools are installable and can be remotely manageable. By default it is enabled in R2. – Janaka
The whole Sever manager is redesigned. Dashboard is customize-able. You can control a server pool too with a server manager. – Janaka
Server mode allows you to update you UI/GUI without leaking memory. – Janaka
Why do one needs Windows Sever 2012 R2?

Configuring the server to load balance will produce different IPs to different users.
Hot server will work only one server at a time. – Darshana
Darshana configured the DHCP failover with the server wizard.
He now restarts the server.
Darshana will again demonstrate to us on how to configure DHCP failover.
DHCP failover requires no hardware requirements. Supports only IPv4 and loads sharing mode. – Darshana
Server 2012 DHCP sever allows you to manage power shells. -Darshana
You can add IPv4, your sites to the server to make them secure. – Darshana

DNS is RTC. You can install the server and monitor the server.
Hybrid are server types regarding this matter. – Darshana
Client communication: it uses particular assigned ports. IPAM users only can read user data. Only admins can edit. – Darshana
IPAM infrastructure can track most of your records along with managing your DNS controller. -Darshana
You can manually track the IPs with excel sheets, but there are 3rd part apps now. – Darshana
