World Cyber Games or WCG is one of largest gaming competition in the World. It was operated by a Korean company. And the official Motto of the competition is "Beyond the Game”.

Last year finals was held at Cologne, Germany. This year’s finals is going to be held at Chengdu, China. For the world final event, there are about 800 competitors participating from 80 countries.

Each year before the world finals, there was another competition happening for Asian countries, called World Cyber Games Asia. For this competition there were 14 countries participating. Official games for this year’s Asian competition was

Last Month in Sri Lanka we had the local finals for the WCG Asia competition. It was held on 13^th of June at Ground Zero Excel world.

In that competition they had selected the Sri Lankan winner for the Asian finals.
